Previously, I reviewed a Breitling Top Time replica watch that caught my attention with its unique dial. Today, I want to share my thoughts on another model, the Top Time Deus edition, which features a full chronograph function. This replica is produced by the BLS factory, a name I’m encountering for the first time, and I’m not familiar with their previous watch offerings. In comparison to the earlier Top Time Breitling watch I reviewed, I prefer this one; its dial design is straightforward yet more appealing to me.
BLS has crafted this watch using 316F stainless steel, featuring a polished case that measures 41mm in diameter and 14.2mm in thickness. The lugs are curved, allowing the watch to fit your wrist more comfortably. There aren’t many standout features in the case design, apart from the distinctive engravings on the case back. These engravings resemble a motorcycle and are related to DEUS, although I’m not familiar with the meaning of that term.
The dial captured my attention, leading me to decide to purchase it. The white dial features silver stick hour markers, while the two small dials have a black background and both serve real functions. The subdial at 9 o’clock has an orange hand that indicates seconds, and the small dial at 3 o’clock displays a 30-minute chronograph with a red hand that matches the central second-chronograph hand. The words “BREITLING” and “TOP TIME DEUS” are printed in black, making them clearly legible against the white background. This replica watch has a fully functional chronograph, allowing you to operate it by pressing the buttons.
The leather strap is brown and has an aged appearance that I find appealing, giving it a touch of vintage charm. The underside, which rests against your skin, is made of yellow leather, a classic Breitling color, and features the Breitling logo. Inside the case, you’ll find a Chinese Valjoux 7750 movement, often referred to as the Asian clone 7750. This movement is designed to resemble the ETA 7750 and retains all the functions of the original. However, it doesn’t match the thickness of the genuine version, which is why many chronograph replica Breitling watches tend to be thicker than their authentic counterparts. Fortunately, the Asian clone 7750 movement has seen significant improvements, resulting in an extended service life.
