The Daytona has become the pride of the Noob factory, establishing itself as their flagship model and surpassing the popularity of their Submariner 116610LN and 116610LV. With the introduction of 904L stainless steel in the replica watches industry, the focus of every factory has shifted towards the development of replica Rolexes, particularly the production of the Daytona. This has had a direct impact on the competitive relationship between Noob and ARF.
In my previous post, I mentioned that Noob was preparing to launch two yellow gold Daytona watches. I’m happy to announce that both watches are now available. In this review, I will focus on the yellow gold version with a green dial. The case thickness of this yellow gold Daytona is 12.5mm, which closely resembles the thickness of the original model. Noob’s newly developed 4130 movement has allowed for a reduction in the overall case thickness while still maintaining all the original functions. The inner case material is made of 904L stainless steel, and the exterior yellow gold coating is an impressive 5 mils thick.
The green dial is personally my favorite as it adds versatility to the replica Daytona, making it suitable for both men and women. Each small dial functions flawlessly, with a distinctive red circle inside. The subdial at 6 o’clock displays the small second hand, while the other two small dials indicate the minute and hour chronograph display. To minimize the risk of any potential issues, it is advisable not to excessively use the chronograph buttons, a recommendation that applies to both the Noob and ARF versions of the Daytona.
Interestingly, the Super Clone 4130 movement developed by the Noob factory appears to have a low repair rate. One of my clients recently purchased two Noob Daytona watches, and he reported that both timepieces are functioning exceptionally well. In my opinion, this Super Clone 4130 movement from Noob demonstrates greater stability compared to their 3135 movement.
The AR factory also produces a green Daytona, but in my opinion, certain small details such as dial printings, case engravings, and inner bezel engravings are not as refined as the ones found in Noob’s version. However, it is worth noting that Noob’s Daytona comes with a significantly higher price tag, with a difference of $300 USD or more. Both Noob and ARF offer quality Daytonas, but if budget allows, opting for Noob may be the better choice.
