Many people, including my father, have a fondness for gold Rolex watches. I have gifted him several yellow gold and rose gold Rolexes, which he cherishes and wears daily. For those who typically purchase gold Rolex replica watches, there are three main concerns: first, is the Rolex produced by a reputable factory? Second, does the gold layer wear off easily? Third, is the movement reliable? Today, I’ll address these questions and discuss the quality of gold Rolex replica watches available in our market.
Almost all well-known factories produce gold Rolex replica watches, including Noob, AR, and BP, each offering a collection of these timepieces. They all claim to use 18K gold plating, but they do not specify the thickness of this plating, which is something we care about. So, are the gold Rolex watches from these prominent factories well-made? My answer would be that they are not exceptional. For instance, while both Noob and AR create high-quality Rolex replicas, their primary strengths lie elsewhere. They provide excellent case finishes, better dial details, and reliable movements, but the gold layer tends to be thin and will fade over time. Thus, not every high-quality Rolex replica is produced by these famous manufacturers.
Regarding the second concern, does the gold layer fade easily? Unfortunately, the answer is yes. Regardless of the factory, the gold layer on these watches will wear off. However, if you order a Rolex from Noob, you can request your supplier to increase the thickness of the gold layer, which won’t be too costly. Generally, gold Rolex watches from Noob or AR do not come with a thick gold layer on the surface. If you’re looking for a gold Submariner or Sea-Dweller with a thicker gold layer, you should consider ordering from the VR factory, as Noob, BP, and AR are not ideal choices for gold models.
If you’re looking for a gold Rolex Datejust or Day-Date, where should you go for the best option? Currently, Noob does not produce Datejust or Day-Date models, and waiting for their stock to be released could take a long time. As for golden Datejusts from ARF, while the quality may be decent, the gold thickness might not meet your standards. Therefore, I highly recommend the CR factory. Although not many people are familiar with CR, which has the Chinese name “长荣”, this factory has a history that predates Noob and is on par with BP. It has been around since I entered this field ten years ago.
In my experience, the quality of their golden Rolex Datejust and Day-Date models has consistently been reliable. In addition to having a thicker gold coating on CR Rolexes, let’s address the third question: is the movement in CR Rolexes stable? I can confidently say that the movement is very reliable. CR is one of the few manufacturers in our market that uses genuine Swiss ETA movements in their Datejust models. For instance, they can fit a Swiss ETA 2836 movement in their 36mm golden Datejust. Furthermore, their Day-Date 40mm models are equipped with the A3255 automatic movement, which will satisfy many buyers’ needs.
In summary, don’t limit your focus to just Noob, AR, and other well-known factories. If you have specific requirements for the Rolex watches you want to order, feel free to seek my advice; I’m more than happy to assist you.
